A workshop will be held at the USGS office in Troy, NY on March 27, 2017, the day before NERC conference, to develop a scientific synthesis of winter climate change in the Northern Forest. This workshop is part of a project recently funded by the Northeastern States Research Cooperative to determine how winter climate change impacts ecological and biogeochemical processes, and how the changing winter landscape affects Northern Forest communities. We have space for ~25 participants in this workshop.
Please contact Alix Contosta (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you and/or your students are interested in attending. Indicate your name, professional affiliation, and a brief description of your background in this area. Priority will be given to individuals who have already engaged in the synthesis effort and/or who are actively involved in winter climate change research.
