Support for graduate students

A limited amount of financial support is available to waive the registration fee for graduate students who present a paper or poster at the meeting. If you wish to apply for this funding, contact Gary Lovett by February 13, 2015. Indicate your school and department, degree program and expected completion date, and the title of your NERC presentation. If these funds are oversubscribed, the NERC Steering Committee will decide on their allocation.

Call for papers

You are invited to make a poster presentation or submit an abstract for a possible oral presentation on any aspect of ecosystem science, resource management or related public policy in the northeastern U.S. or eastern Canada.

All relevant posters will be accepted for display at the poster session on March 24. If you wish to present a poster, send the title and author information (names and affiliations) to Kathy Crowley by February 23, 2015.

Oral presentations:
A limited number of 15-minute slots are available on the program for contributed papers. A committee will select presentations from the submitted abstracts, with priority given to presentations with regional significance or multi-site collaboration. If you wish to be considered for an oral presentation, submit the title, author information, and a brief abstract (maximum half a page) to Gary Lovett by February 23, 2015. Those submissions not selected for oral presentations may present posters instead. You will be notified by March 2, 2015 whether your submission is selected for oral presentation.
